Here’s a stat just for news sites: The average Facebook user who “likes” content on a news website is 34 — that’s about two decades younger than the average newspaper subscriber. We’ve known for some time that the future of journalism and social media are, at this point, inextricably linked; this stat provides a little hard evidence for that conclusion.

Etude AT: Facebook gĂ©nère en moyenne 1,3% du trafic des sites d’infos français

Pour réaliser cette étude, nous avons considéré 12 grands sites web d’actualité français mesurés par une solution AT Internet.

Sur l’ensemble des visites toutes sources confondues d’un site web d’actualité français, la part moyenne de Facebook en tant qu’affluent est de 1.3% du 6 au 12 septembre 2010, tandis qu’elle est de 0.1% pour Twitter :

Microsoft and WordPress just announced that WordPress.com will become the default blogging platform for Windows Live. Live Spaces' 30 million users will have six months to migrate their blogs over to WordPress.com and the two companies will offer a number of tools that should make this migration very easy.

Le tribunal a condamné le directeur de la publication de Google.fr et Google Inc. pour diffamation et il a ordonné au premier de prendre toutes les mesures pour supprimer les suggestions et propositions litigieuses apparaissant sur « Google suggest » et sur « Recherches associées » lorsque les internautes saisissent comme requête sur le moteur de recherche « X bella », sous astreinte de 500 euros par manquement constaté et par jour.

New York Times Integration with International Herald Tribune Attracts Big Global Online Audience

Last year, the Web sites of The New York Times and the Times-owned International Herald Tribune were combined to become the Global Edition of the Times.
